Cuộc thi ảnh Shoot Nations 2008 về chủ đề ‘Thanh niên với sự biến đổi khí hậu”
Nhà tổ chức cuộc thi muốn biết những vấn đề môi trường tác động như thế nào đối với thanh niên toàn cầu. Người tham dự gửi 3 bức ảnh hoặc tranh vẽ về các chủ đề:
· Biến đổi khí hậu tác động như thế nào tới cuộc sống của bạn?
· Hãy hành động ngay – hãy là nhân tố thay đổi!
· Thế giới tương lai của bạn.
Đối tượng tham dự là tất cả thanh thiếu niên từ 11 đến 24 tuổi trên toàn thế giới.

The theme for this year’s competition is ‘YOUNG PEOPLE IN A CHANGING CLIMATE’.
We want to see the environmental issues affecting young people all around the world.
Take 3 photographs or draw 3 pictures that capture the following:
- How is climate change affecting your life?
- Act now - be the change!
- Your world in the future.
Upload your entries and be in with a chance to have your photo exhibited at the World Youth Congress in Quebec for International Youth Day, 12th August 2008.
The competition is open to anyone aged 11 – 24 from anywhere in the world. Last year the competition received over 1500 entries from 85 countries. Over 2000 people attended exhibitions of Shoot Nations photographs on 4 different continents – help us make this year even bigger and better!
Winners will be announced on-line on Tuesday 12th August 2008, International Youth Day 2008.
Shoot Nations is an exciting opportunity for you to express yourself and make your voice heard.
- Winners will receive fabulous prizes - see prize list below.
- Winners will be in with a chance to win a trip to Quebec to present their photo, along with the light-box, at the World Youth Congress on International Youth Day.
- 48 chosen photos will be collated into a huge "Light-Box" - a photographic collage - which will be presented at the World Youth Congress in Quebec on International Youth Day.
- ALL photos/drawings will be exhibited online at shootnations.org for the rest of the time...
- Selected photos will be displayed on Plan UK's development education website: plan-ed.org

WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A WINNER
Winning photos usually represent something unique, over and above all other photos. The winners will present a special and interesting idea, often original and generally positive. You do NOT need to be a professional or experienced photographer to win but you DO need to take photographs that portray emotion and that has the ability to positively affect a room of judges.
