Rubik - How to solve quickly?

Tonight, a friend asked me how to solve a rubik quickly while I've doing my English writing. 

Actually, I don't have enough to play this game, but I think it's a brain-practical game. 

Just searched with Google, I read many sites which show the formula to solve the rubik.
